The star lot was the historic racing sidecar outfit on which the legendary Helmut Fath won the Sidecar World Championship in 1968 and with which Horst Owesle took the title in 1971. From a private collection, this important and historic outfit eventually sold after some spirited bidding from around the World for £102,700

Vincents once again proved their popularity and with no less than eight consigned, four of them made it into the top ten lot performers by value, the best being the 1954 Black Shadow Series C which sold for £47,700.
