1975 Norton Commando 850

This 1975 Norton Commando 850 is finished in silver and powered by an over-bored 828cc parallel twin mated to a four-speed transmission. Equipment includes a black two-up seat, both center and side stands, front and rear disc brakes, Sun 19″ alloy rims, both electric and kick starters, Isolastic drivetrain mounts, electronic ignition, and an LED taillight. Work done includes re-dishing the front wheel, replacing the fuel tank and headlight, installing a Kingpin Components ignition cutout switch and Lansdowne fork dampers, and rebuilding the gearbox and engine with 0.020″-over pistons, a re-ground crankshaft, a three-phase alternator, and a 36mm Mikuni carburetor. Work in the past 300 miles is said to have included changing the oil and adjusting the valve clearances, ignition timing, and drive chain.
