For sale is a very rare Balkan C2 250 from 1967. Balkan is Bulgarian manufacturer of bicycles and motorcycles between 1957 and 1975 in 50, 75 and 250cc models. Total production numbers of all models are 71 368. 250cc models were produced between 1957 and 1971 in two main models: M1 and M2 later called C2. M1 is direct copy of DKW RT 250. Engine and all the mechanics and quality are exactly the same with the German model. All the technology was used unlegal, without official license. In the second and actually last model, presented in 1960 engine and mechanics remained the same, but the styling was refreshed, resembling a Jawa – this is the only common characteristic with the Czech model. Balkan motorcycles were not exported in many countries and are very rare abroad. Technical features: Two stroke single cylinder, 250cc, 12.5HP at 4800rpm, 4 speeds, unladen weight 150kg, max speed 110km/h. This bike is totally restored in 2012-2013 with original parts. For restoration are used old but good and NOS parts only from same model. In July 2013 the bike take part in 8 days 2500km Bulgaria round trip without single breakdown.
