1929 Indian 101, 1929 '101' Indian Scout. Excellent re-built condition. Most of the mechanicals built with George Yarocki at his shop in Torrington, CT with valuable help from Tim Raindle, both renowned for their expertise and deep knowledge of 101 Indian scouts. Most of the parts came from George's stock. The engine re-build is extensively documented in George's hand, original flywheels, rods, Hutchinson nickel plated cylinders and heads. Beautifully balanced by George to the highest standards. Correct Splitdorf NS magneto re-built with George and Mark's Magneto. Correct 101 scout color as per George. Everything as it should be. This scout was ridden 900 miles last summer on the beautiful roads of the Champlain valley and hills of Vermont. It handles like a dream, you can as they say, 'ride for miles' without touching the handlebars. Quiet roads here! This bike needs nothing, starts easily pulls up the Vermont hills and has that wonderfull 101 exhaust sound (by Walker) to entertain you. Extensive photographs and notes as when as signed memorabilia from George. This is a sweet bike. Hard to let it go.
